This year’s research returned to the 3 dimensions of The Happiness Formula - preparedness, trust and ownership - seen through an employer lens. Compared to last year’s results and combined with work-life evolutions, we find that employers have the opportunity to play a new role.
In the first half of 2019, State Street conducted an online survey, in conjunction with international data analytics firm YouGov, across five countries that reflect an array of retirement systems. The 195 plan sponsors surveyed have fiduciary responsibility for more than 1.5 million participants within various industries and plans. Those surveyed are employed by firms that offer DC plans.
By gaining plan providers’ perspectives, we’re seeking to further our global goal of delivering better retirement outcomes by evaluating the issues from multiple points of view.
